At our workplace, birthdays go beyond cake, they're a celebration of people, culture, and connection. This June, with both our founders’ birthdays, the office lit up with energy, laughter, frosting-covered faces, and epic gaming battles all week long.
The festivities kicked off on June 9 with the birthday of our co-founder and CTO, Mr. Sunny Sheladiya. As the clock approached 5 p.m., the entire team gathered in anticipation, with buzzing energy. The lights dimmed, an entry song cued up the one that always gets Mr. Sunny pumped and in he walked, greeted by a joyful chorus and a burst of colorful paper poppers.
After a warm welcome, we moved on to the cake cutting session. The moment the knife sliced through the frosting, you could sense what was coming next and yes, tradition held strong. Cake found its way not just onto plates, but onto faces because what's a birthday without a little frosting-fueled face painting?
With sugar fueling our spirits, we moved onto a gaming session. The office transformed into a mini arcade: some dove into adrenaline-pumping CS:GO matches, while others grouped up for friendly rounds of UNO, Ludo, and a collection of card games. Light snacks kept us going, but it was the laughter and friendly banter that truly filled us up.
THE very next day, the baton passed to our co-founder and CEO, Mr. Raj Ladumor. We kicked off June 10 with a productive morning, but the buzz in the office told a different story: something fun was coming. Work paused around noon for a special lunch, lovingly arranged by our founders themselves. The menu? A comfort-food classic: sandwiches, chilli toast, and buttermilk simple, satisfying, and served with smiles.
Post-lunch, the games made their glorious return. Teammates reunited at their game stations and continued their matches from the day before. CS:GO battles heated up, card towers grew taller, and laughter grew louder.
At 5 p.m., the moment everyone had been waiting for arrived. Mr. Raj made his birthday entrance to the tune of his favorite song, greeted by an explosion of poppers and cheers. Mr. Raj took a moment to publicly appreciate our HR Manager, Mrs. Raveena Chaudry, and fellow colleagues whose thoughtful planning and tireless coordination made the entire week unforgettable. The round of applause she received could have lifted the roof.
Mr. Priyesh Hirpara, a talented singer among us, led the team in a heartfelt rendition of the birthday song. The cake was beautiful, but it didn’t stay untouched for long because yes, the face-caking tradition struck again and left some sweet memories on camera!. The smiles said it all this wasn't just a birthday celebration; it was a heartfelt tribute to the people who built the foundation of this amazing company.
The evening ended with an impromptu photo session and videography, immortalizing the smiles, the frosting-covered cheeks, and the moments of pure, unfiltered joy.
